I absolutely adore flamingos, not the kitschy versions from 1980s lawns, but the real ones with their soft variations of pink, their layered feathers full of texture, and their quiet, graceful presence. I photographed this beauty during a visit to a park in San Diego, where she paused just long enough for me to capture her elegant profile. The original photo didn’t do her justice, so I reimagined her into this soft, light pink, ethereal dream.

I softened the background, lifted the light, and brought forward the delicate details in her feathers to create a portrait that feels calm, airy, and luminous. Her gentle curve and serene expression give the piece a sense of stillness that feels both modern and timeless.
